UK is the largest offshore wind market in Europe, and 2024 will be an exciting year for development of offshore wind. Two important milestones in UK in 2024 are Celtic Sea leasing round (4GW of floating) and Allocation Round 6 (CfD auction) with improved commercial features – both with deadline first half of 2024. Together with the existing pipeline of offshore wind projects these activities create substantial opportunities for the Norwegian supply chain in UK.
