Greece's offshore wind market is emerging as a highly attractive destination, with ambitious plans to achieve 1.9 GW of capacity by the year 2030. The eagerly anticipated regulatory framework for the tender process is set to be unveiled in October, providing a pivotal moment for industry stakeholders.

Considering these developments, Norwegian Offshore Wind has established a partnership with ELETAEN, the Greek Wind Association, in a collaborative effort to facilitate valuable connections between Norwegian and Greek companies. This collaboration will manifest through matchmaking activities designed to bring together key players in the industry.

The visit is expected to attract notable Greek wind farm developers, including corporate members of ELETAEN. They will participate in the event and engage in relevant working meetings with Norwegian companies. The presence of these influential entities, coupled with the fact that many of them have already announced investment targets for offshore wind, underscores the immense opportunities within the Greek offshore wind sector.
