If you’re a startup or small company working in offshore wind, here’s some good news: Norwegian Offshore Wind’s Accelerator has got a refill of funding and opportunities.

After kicking things off in 2023 as Norway’s first accelerator dedicated to offshore wind, it now opens new possibilities following international collaboration in two EU projects.

What is the NOW Accelerator?

  • Launched: Summer 2023
  • Purpose: Support startups and SMEs developing offshore wind solutions
  • Backed by: Equinor, Ørsted, Fred. Olsen Seawind, Hafslund Eco, Deep Wind Offshore, EDF, Corio Generation, Å Energi, Seagust, Vattenfall — and more
  • Focus: Industry-driven innovation, collaboration, and commercialization
  • New in 2025: EU partnerships, open calls, and international acceleration programs

RENEW-Booster: Accelerating Europe’s Green Transition

Last week, Norwegian Offshore Wind joined forces with clusters from six European countries in Copenhagen to kick off RENEW-Booster, an EU-funded initiative aimed at scaling innovation in offshore wind, solar, and energy networks.

Being part of RENEW-Booster gives our members a unique opportunity to strengthen international collaboration and scale their innovations.

In plain terms? It means more funding, more collaboration, and more visibility for small companies ready to make a big impact.

Stay tuned! Open calls and innovation challenges are coming soon.

OASIS: Offshore Accelerator for System Integration and Storage

What’s on offer:

  • Market insights and industry needs
  • Access to seven European markets
  • Expert mentoring in commercialization and sustainable design
  • Networking with investors and industry leaders

Pressure Cooker in Ålesund – January 2026

If you’re working on energy storage, digitalization, energy management, or port infrastructure — this is your moment.

Application deadline: November 15

Info Session: November 7, 13:00–14:00
