Are you our new working group leader for Poland and the Baltics?

Norwegian Offshore Wind is gearing up efforts in Poland and the Baltics, and we are searching for a new industry representative to head up the working group for these markets, replacing Christian Vinstrup (photo).
Poland is a promising emerging market expected to go from zero to several gigawatts of offshore wind in record speed!
Tenders to come
Poland’s first offshore wind project Baltic Power (1.2 GW) is expected to come online in 2026. The Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 projects, with a combined capacity of 1.44 GW, have reached their final investment decision and entered the construction phase.
The Polish government is planning tenders for a total of 12 GW offshore wind capacity that will take place in 2025 (4 GW), 2027 (4 GW), 2029 (2 GW) and 2031 (2 GW). Poland is expected to reach their target of 5.9 GW installed capacity by 2030 and to approach 18 GW by 2040.
The estimated technical potential of the Baltic Sea bordering Poland is approximately 33 GW, enough to cover more than half of the country’s electricity needs.
What the working group does
The working group in Norwegian Offshore Wind will be a hub for information, market intelligence and activities targeting the Polish market. The working group leader will head up the activities of the working group with the support of the administration in Norwegian Offshore Wind, and will be a central asset in setting the strategic direction for the work towards the Polish market.
Norwegian Offshore Wind has several working groups covering different supply chain topics and international markets. All our working groups are led by a representative from the industry. They are open to all members of Norwegian Offshore Wind.
