LaserGT is Safety Leader’s laser-based solution for controlled rust removal and surface preparation in maintenance operations. The solution is designed for environments where traditional methods such as sandblasting, grinding, and needle scaling result in high secondary costs due to dust, contamination, waste, cleaning, and operational disruption. LaserGT enables more precise and controlled work and is particularly relevant for offshore wind, maritime maintenance, defense, rail, and other industries with high requirements for safety, availability, and total cost of ownership. In offshore wind, the technology is relevant not only in O&M, but also earlier in the value chain — in development, engineering, and lifetime extension — where future maintenance needs and costs are largely defined.
