About

Greenov is a French startup funded in 2021 that focuses on protecting the marine ecosystem by offering innovative solutions. Our head office is in Vannes and our R&D center in Nantes. We are now 15 people motivated to take up this challenge. We are very active in Europe thanks to the 5 European projects in which we participate. The company is today largely financed by European subsidies, in particular the EIC Accelerator which we were awarded in November 2022. We have 3 areas of intervention: • Reduction of underwater noise generated by coastal and offshore works thanks to our very innovative Noise Mitigation System: the Subsea Quieter®. It is our main product and it’s ready to be commercialized to help port authorities and construction companies to find effective solutions to reduce the impacts of their future works ; • Reduction of collisions between ships and cetaceans/unidentified floating objects thanks to a collaborative application to allows ship captain to share the location of cetaceans and acoustic warning systems positioned under the hull of the ship to alert cetaceans of the presence of a ship; • Monitoring of the maritime environment using intelligent cameras and hydrophones (monitoring the attendance of a site, measuring the impact of anchoring on sensitive habitats, detection of species by passive acoustics...); We plan to raise €15M at the end of 2024 to accelerate the testing of our solutions in real conditions and their launch on the European and North American markets.
