Trade Mission Offshore Wind Vessels Portugal and Spain

Meet relevant maritime stakeholders in Portugal and Spain for a three day market visit with focus on offshore wind vessels.
Background
The ambitious offshore wind objectives of the national governments have generated an increasing number of potential offshore wind projects in Europe, America & Asia. This new scenario creates new challenges the industry needs to overcome. Among the existing challenges, the offshore wind industry faces the scarcity of specialised support and transport vessels capable to meet the new demanding international scenario.
Why participate?
In this context, the Norwegian industry can contribute with expertise and technology to the manufacturing of the offshore wind vessels needed to match the existing and future projects.
Portugal and Spain
Portugal and Spain are two nations with well-known shipyard industrial capabilities. The shipyards located in the Iberian peninsula can contribute to the manufacturing of the needed offshore wind vessels and in collaboration with the Norwegian maritime industry, create the state of the art in offshore wind support and transport vessels.
Who will you meet?
Portuguese and Spanish ship yards and maritime industry associations.
