RENEW-BOOSTER: Information webinar

-
Together with partners from Energy Cluster Denmark, Capenergies, Clúster de l'Energia Efficient de Catalunya, ICT Cluster Burgas and the Pomeranian Offshore Platform, we are inviting for an information webinar about the first call for applications in the RENEW-BOOSTER project. Join this webinar to learn more about the project, how to apply for funding, and other useful tips.
What is the RENEW-BOOSTER project?
Europe is facing a critical challenge in accelerating the green and digital transition while simultaneously strengthening energy security, industrial competitiveness, and strategic autonomy. In this context, renewable energy technologies, particularly offshore wind, photovoltaics, and energy grids, play a central role in achieving the EU’s climate and energy targets and in implementing key policy frameworks such as the Net-Zero Industry Act and the Critical Raw Materials Act. These sectors are expected to experience significant growth towards 2030 and 2050, yet they are also characterised by complex value chains, dependence on critical raw materials, and an urgent need for innovation, digitalisation, and skills development among SMEs.
The RENEW-BOOSTER project has been designed to address these challenges by strengthening and further developing European value chains in offshore wind, photovoltaics, and energy networks. The overall objective of the project is to foster the development, industrialisation, and market uptake of innovative solutions in these sectors, thereby supporting Europe’s green transition, increasing supply chain resilience, and reinforcing the EU’s global leadership in renewable energy. Through targeted support to SMEs, the establishment of transnational collaborations, and the application of a Quadruple Helix approach, the project brings together industry, research, public authorities, and civil society to accelerate innovation, skills development, and sustainable growth across the European energy ecosystem.
