RDS4X – Reference Designation System implementation in the offshore wind industry

DNV invites you to the RDS PS Wind Implementor Forum (RDS4X.org). The event aims at facilitating collaboration among stakeholders in the implementation of ISO/IEC 81346, starting with the wind energy sector. This is a collaboration with Norwegian Offshore Wind and the Working Group for Digitalization and Simulation.
What is ISO/IEC 81346?
ISO/IEC 81346 is an international standard that provides guidelines for organising and labelling technical systems, installations, equipment, and products. It is primarily focused on creating a structured approach to managing information about these systems through a Reference Designation System (RDS).
By following these standardised rules, organisations can achieve better quality control, predictability, and cost efficiency while managing technical systems.
