Join Team Norway at Wind Expo Japan 2026

Japan is rapidly emerging as one of the most exciting offshore wind markets in the world – particularly within floating wind. Together with Business Norway and the Norwegian Embassy in Tokyo we arrange a trip to Wind Expo Japan, 17–19 March 2026.
It's a brilliant opportunity for networking, B2B meetings and insight into one of the most dynamic and strategic offshore wind markets. A chance to connect directly with leading Japanese developers, technology companies and policymakers, and to position your company at the forefront of a booming market.
Why Wind Expo Japan?
Wind Expo Japan is the country’s largest and most influential wind power event, attracting around 70,000 visitors as part of Smart Energy Week. The exhibition brings together the entire wind value chain – from turbine technology and installation to offshore operations and maintenance – and has established itself as the key platform for accelerating the wind industry’s growth across Japan and Asia.
Japans ambitions
Japan acknowledges it potential as one of the best areas globally for offshore wind by its ambitions to form a project pipeline of 10GW installed capacity by 2030 and up to 45 GW by 2040, of which 15GW will be floating. Norwegian companies – with their world-leading expertise in offshore engineering, and subsea infrastructure – are uniquely positioned to contribute. There is a significant need for partners with experience in mooring and anchoring, towing and hook-up, seabed and geophysical assessments, cable installation, and O&M services.
At the Norway Pavilion, hosted by Innovation Norway, Norwegian Offshore Wind, and the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Tokyo in cooperation with Norwegian Energy Partners, Team Norway will showcase the very best of Norwegian innovation and competence. This will be the place where Japanese companies come to discuss challenges, find inspiration, and meet future partners.
Registration deadline: 5 December
