Boostcamp Norway: The Moreld Ocean Wind Way

-
Boostcamp Norway is a new concept offering a one-day workshop to NOW members from both Norway and from international markets.
Our goal at Norwegian Offshore Wind is to build world-class supply chains and help them to get “fit and ready” for upcoming opportunities. “Boost-camp Norway” is a new concept offering a one-day workshop to NOW members from both Norway and from international markets, where our hosts share their approach for ensuring quality and value in their selection of suppliers.
The focus is on building knowledge, highlighting best practice, and helping the supply chain to position themselves ready for the action that is to come. We are delighted that the very first Bootcamp is being hosted by Moreld Ocean Wind in Stavanger.
Moreld Ocean Wind is a pure play independent technology, product, and solutions provider for the Floating Offshore Wind Industry, established for the purpose of executing large, complex offshore wind projects. Their segment is EPCI of floating wind foundations and associated mooring systems.
A competent and capable local supply chain is key for most offshore wind developments, especially within the floating wind segment. And Norway is uniquely positioned; with an industry and supply chain that have decades of experience in supporting offshore operations in some of the harshest environments, as well as having some of the most interesting offshore wind development on its own doorstep.
-We are working on a range of national and international wind developments, and we are looking very much forward to contributing in boosting the Norwegian supply chain by hosting this first of a series of Boost-camps, says Asbjørn Wathne in Moreld Ocean Wind.
